We have been working expats since 2014 and with retirement looming, we started to look online for information about remaining as expats in retirement.

Our current location in the Middle East is not an option and we have no wish to retire back in the UK. Brexit made things more difficult although not impossible to retire in Europe, but Central or South America had always topped the list for several reasons.

It soon became apparent that almost all the information online was aimed at the American retiree and very little was available to assist European, particularly UK expats. This is what we aim to address here.

The website will always be a work in progress, with new posts as and when we can manage or have something to say. So, if you don’t mind building materials scattered all over, or the smell of fresh paint, then please join us on our journey to becoming expat retirees.
